Section 1. Admission Policies
1.1 Enrollment of a student to NTC is considered as a contract
between the student, his/her parents and the school. The
Official Registration Form and this handbook are part of this
contract. The student is considered enrolled for the entire
semester only upon payment of the required fees. The
payment may either be in partial or in full.
1.2 The school adheres to the policy of open enrollment regardless
of race, color, beliefs, and creed of the enrolled applicant.
However, the school reserves the right to reject or deny any
application from the following grounds:
a. fails to cope with the academic standards of the
school;
b. fails to present credentials from previous school
attended;
c. makes false statements/tamper their application for
admission;
d. is convicted of any criminal or administrative
offense; and
e. is a threat to peace and order in the school premise.
1.3 As a matter of policy, the school adopts all existing educational
laws, rules and regulations, policies and standards, which may
not be covered in this handbook but are being implemented by
TESDA, CHED or any government authorities.
Section 2. Admission Requirements
a. For High School Graduates
HS Report Card
Certificate of Good Moral Character
Copy of Birth Certificate/(NSO authenticated)
4 pcs 2×2 latest ID picture with white background
NCAE or YP4SC result (YP4SC can be taken at NTC)
b. For Transferees:
Certificate of Transfer Credentials / Honorable
Dismissal
Official Transcript of Records
Copy of Birth Certificate/(NSO authenticated)
Certificate of Good Moral Character
2 pcs 2×2 ID picture with white background
NCAE or YP4SC result (YP4SC can be taken at NTC)
Section 3. Adding, Changing and Dropping of subjects
Adding, Changing and Dropping of subjects will be scheduled one
week after the opening of classes as scheduled in the Annual School
Calendar. If a student will add, change or drop schedules, he/she should
notify the Registrar immediately by filling out the Adding/Changing/Dropping
Form. Date indicated in the form becomes the official date the student’s
adding, changing or dropping of subjects/course.
Section 4. Other Enrollment Provisions:
4.1 After the enrollment period specified in the Annual School
Calendar, a late enrollee-student may be allowed to enroll only
after securing an approval from the school authorities.
4.2 No student is allowed to enroll in any subject/s in advance
unless he/she has completed corresponding pre-requisites.
4.3 Student is only allowed to attend classes to which he/she is
officially enrolled and only students with class cards will be
admitted to class.
Student-transferee shall secure the Request for Subject Accreditation Form
from the Registrar’s Office prior to his/her enrolment. A maximum of only
30% from the total number of units in the entire course taken from the
previous school shall be accredited.
